Rory – Special needs hound needs a special home.
Birth Date: 2.1.2014
This is a soft-hearted guy who LONGS to be back in the right home for him.
What Rory truly needs is a Greyhound savvy and committed person or couple. A quiet home with some space and a fenced yard would be perfect. He needs a quiet neighborhood, residential or rural. Rory will probably do best with one laid back person.
Rory smiles, wags and beats to his own drummer!
Rory’s story is not a very happy one so far, but the right person and a calm home environment should change all of that! This beautiful sweet fawn was returned for the second time. He is a quiet and tranquil guy with a loving heart. His previous families said he was the perfect hound 99.5% of the time.
He likes to spend most of his time lounging and quiet walks, being talked to and petted on his terms. He mostly likes to be left alone until he decides to come to you.. He is currently on low dose Prozac and 10mg CBD, which could be a life long regime for anxiety and depression. He has been medically cleared physically and neurologically.
Once adopted, a professional behaviorist is recommended as it may prove to be beneficial.
He is pensive and understated… a wonderful boy!
